LAHORE, Aug 18: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta has ordered free hepatitis tests for all the residents of Hadiara village and posting of doctors at its health centre in 24 hours.

The DCO visited the village on Monday on the orders of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and ordered that at least 10 medical camps be set up for test of their blood for signs of hepatitis. He said insecticides should be sprayed in the village for extermination of mosquitoes. He also ordered increasing the number of sanitary workers in the village from 17 to 50 and submission of estimates for repair of roads in three days.

The DCO ordered filling of vacancies in the village school in a week and making arrangements for repair of existing classrooms and construction of new classrooms. —Reporter
