LAHORE, Aug 11: The Independence Day badminton championship for girls and boys entered the final stage at the New Khan hall on Monday.

Quarter-finals (boys’ singles).

Shehroz Altaf bt Moeen Badar 21-5, 21-3; Sharjeel Ahmed bt Raza Abdul Rehman 21-14, 21-12; Talha Khalid bt Rasheeb M. Ali by 21-14, 21-8; Raza Hasnain bt M. Umer 21-10, 21-11.

Quarter-finals (boys’ doubles).

Inzimam-ul-Haq-Raja Hasnain bt

Daud Butt-Sharjeel 21-4, 21-5; Shehab Sheikh- Hamza Nazir beat Ahsan Iqbal-Faisal 21-8, 21-11; Shehroz-Mohtasim bt Amaar Masood-Moeen Badar 21-6, 21-8; Adil Faraz-Ali Murtaza bt Jazeb-Nabeel 21-6, 21-6.
