HYDERABAD, Aug 11: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) announced the Best Teacher Award to Prof Dr Pervez Ahmed, faculty and research scholar, Sindh Development Studies Centre of the Sindh University.

The HEC in a communication informed the Vice Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui about the award consisting of a certificate and cash prize of Rs100,000.

The HEC while congratulating the teacher invited him to the ceremony scheduled for August 13 in Islamabad.

The award will be conferred upon the scholar by Chairman HEC, Prof Dr Attaur Rehman and the function will be attended by vice chancellors and scholars from different universities.
