KARACHI, Aug 8: Canadian investment mission is expected to visit Pakistan this year to explore possibilities of investment.

The bilateral trade between Pakistan and Canada need to be further expanded in view of cordial relations exist between two countries, said Ms Marilyn Denton Sr. Trade Commissioner of Canada in meeting with S M Muneer Former President FPCCI at Federation House on Friday.

She called for intensive interaction between business community of two countries which will contribute in exploring new avenues for promotion of trade and joint ventures.

Expressing concern on low volume of trade ties which is on down trend, she suggested Pakistan Canada Business Council of FPCCI should play vital role in restoring confidence of Canadian leading investors.—PPI
