MIRPURKHAS, Aug 4: The controller of the Mirpurkhas Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abdul Rahim Shaikh announced on Monday the results of annual examination for Secondary School Certificate Part-II (Class-X) General Group.

According to the result, Jam Tariq Ali Khan Junejo, son of Jam Anwar Ali Khan Junejo, (seat No.73561) of Government Higher Secondary School Nauabad secured first position by obtaining 657 marks.

Sumaiya, daughter of Yaqoob Khan Pathan, (72063) of Girls Higher Secondary School clinched second position by gaining 656 marks and Jehangir Aslam, son of Mohammad Aslam, (72003) of Government Boys Higher Secondary School made it to the third after getting 644 marks.

A total of 455 of 554 candidates who appeared in the exams were declared successful, 48 clinched grade A, 194 grade B, 159 made it to C and 54 could just manage to get D.

The chairman congratulated the position holders and awarded a certificate to Sumaiya, who was the only position holder present in the hall, while the first and third position holders did not attend the result-announcement ceremony.
