HYDERABAD, Oct 24: The acting chairman of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM), Shafi Karnani, has demanded that the influx of Afghan nationals into Sindh should be stopped forthwith and those Afghans who have already entered the province should be expelled.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, he said that if the government failed to take any action in this regard, the party would launch a movement against the Afghan nationals and other outsiders.

He said in the name of religion, hatred was being spread in the province. He called upon the religious organizations to stage protest demonstrations on the Afghanistan issue in other provinces as the Sindhi nation believed in secularism. He said his party would not allow Sindh to become a religious battle ground.

JSM: The central body of Jeay Sindh Mahaz (JSM), at an urgent meeting held here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Abdul Khaliq Junejo, condemned the occupation of party head office, “Sindh House”, by Zain Shah group.
