MIRPURKHAS, Aug 1: Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan activists staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Friday to protest against price hike.

Protesters, led by provincial vice-president of JUP Mufti Mohammad Sharif Saeedi, carried banners and placards and raised slogans against the government.

Speaking on the occasion, Mufti Saeedi, Mohammad Anis Soharwardi and Rao Maqsood Ahmed said that said that country was facing the crisis of price hike, lawlessness and power shortage, which was a result of wrong policies of the government. They said that only the imposition of Nizam-i-Mustafa (Peace Be Upon Him) would solve all problems of the country.

They said that the government should be made accountable for its wrong policies and added that the government should not accept the dictation from the US.
