PHF’s cash incentives for hockey team

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan hockey players will get attractive cash bonuses for winning their matches at the Beijing Olympics, Pakistan Hockey Federation chief Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali announced here on Wednesday.

Speaking to mediamen at a function arranged here to honour the national hockey team, Jamali said that each player of the team will be getting US$300 for winning the pool matches, US$2000 for winning the semifinal and US$5000 for clinching the gold medal at the Olympic Games.
