SUKKUR, July 26: Two people were killed and three others were injured in an accident on National Highway, near Al-Nisar petrol pump near Mirpur Mathelo on Saturday.

A speedy trailer was going to Karachi from Punjab and when it reached near Al-Nisar petrol pump it hit a rickshaw. The rickshaw driver lost control and banged it into a motorcycle. Two people, motorcyclist Imdad and a passenger of rickshaw, Din Mohammad Chandio, were killed on the spot, while three were injured in the incident.

The injured rickshaw driver, Tayyab Kolachi, Mazhar Shaikh and Rehmat Ali Daudpoto have been shifted to Civil Hospital Mirpur Mathelo.

Later Mazhar was referred to Rahim Yar Khan Hospital in a critical condition.
