HYDERABAD, July 26: The director of admissions of the University of Sindh announced on Saturday admission schedule for MS/MPhil in different disciplines for 2008 session.

He said that the university had launched enrolment in two-year MS/MPhil programme in Biotechnology, Computer Science, Fresh Water Biology and Fisheries, Pakistan Study and Sociology subjects.

Admission forms would be issued by HBL Jamshoro and Old Campus Hyderabad branches from July 30 and the last date for submission of forms had been fixed as Aug 12, he said.

He said that the pre-entry test of candidates would be held on Aug 17, result of entry test would be announced on Aug 19, successful candidates would deposit admission fee up to Aug 23 and regular classes for MS/MPhil would commence from Aug 25.

TEACHING ACTIVITIES: The Sindh University announced on Saturday that the academic activities for the second semester of 2008 session would start from Monday after completion of summer vacations.

It announced that students’ point buses would ply from already fixed routes of Hyderabad city, Latifabad and Qasimabad for Jamshoro and advised all the students to attend their classes regularly.

FEE: The director of admissions of the University of Sindh announced on Saturday that the last date for payment of fee for admission to fifth professional Pharm-D (evening programme) for 2008 session had been extended up to Aug 11.
