DADU, July 19: The reinstated secondary teachers held a protest rally outside the press club on Saturday.

They said that they had not been paid salaries since past seven months. They demanded payment of their salaries.

The affected teachers were led by Ghulam Yasin Channa, Ghulam Ali Babar, Manzoor Hussain Lashari, Nazeer Ahmed Panhwar and Nazeer Ahmed.

Speaking to protesters, Channa said that 300 teachers were not paid salaries since past seven months. He said the teachers were performing their duties in schools and their families were facing financial hardships.

He appealed to the Sindh chief minister and Sindh education minister to take notice of the matter and release their salaries.
