QUETTA, July 14: An anti-terrorism court sentenced on Monday two persons to death and jailed five others for life in a murder case.

Judge Najibullah Khan announced the verdict, saying the prosecution had proved charges against the accused.

Those sentenced to death are Hayat Khan and Iftikhar while Ali Sher, Ibrahim, Shareen, Sher Ali and Saad Wali have been jailed for life.

The prosecution said that the accused had on Dec 8, 2007 kidnapped Malik Imran from Sharag area of Harnai and later killed him.
