HYDERABAD, May 4: The people of Hyderabad experienced the hottest day of the summer season on Saturday with mercury shooting upto 47.3 degree centigrade.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 26. Related humidity in the environment was recorded 8 at minimum and 46 at maximum.

According to MET office forecast the weather would remain dry and hot during the next couple of days.

The people, especially those riding motorcycles, covered their faces with handkerchief to avoid heat. Thin traffic was witnessed on the roads whereas air conditioners were also not functioning upto the mark because of sizzling heat.
