TIMERGARA, July 12: PPP’s Timergara tehsil president Sher Mohammad has criticised the provincial education minister for cancelling postings of education officers in Lower Dir and called upon the federal government to take notice of the matter.

In a press statement issued here on Saturday, he accused the local ANP leadership of creating hurdles in the working of PPP lawmakers. According to him, the PPP leadership had posted competent and hardworking officers in the education department a week ago, but the ANP had cancelled the order.

He said the PPP had won four of five provincial assembly seats in the district, but the ANP was not meeting PPP’s demands. He said if the ANP did not change its attitude toward the PPP and its workers, the PPP should quit the coalition government in the province.
