KARACHI, July 8: Medium pacer Moiz-ul-Hasan claimed seven wickets to bowl Zone-VI to a resounding ten-wicket victory over Zone-III in the KCCA Inter-zonal cricket tournament at Public School ground on Monday.

Moiz recorded splendid figures of 7-16 to dismiss Zone-III for 93 in 32.1 overs. Zone-VI, in reply, romped home without any loss in 12.1 overs. Faraz Ahmed smashed 52 with five boundaries and Hasan Azad made 27 not out.

In another match played at the Student Ground, Zone-V overpowered Zone-I by five wickets. Mohammad Rahim Khan hit a match-winning 73.

In another match at Pak Star Ground, Zone-IV overwhelmed Zone-II by 31 runs.
