PESHAWAR, July 6: Six persons, including a woman and her son, died in two road accidents in Buner and Swat on Sunday.

Hidayat Bibi and her six-month-old son Khalid died, while her two other children, including Sahira and Nauman sustained serious injuries, when their Salarzai-bound motor car (499/UC Jure) turned turtle after hitting a passerby Zaffar Ali near village Torwarsak area. Zaffar Ali also lost his life in the accident.

The injured were shifted to the district headquarters hospital, Daggar where their condition, was said to be out of danger.

Driver of the car reportedly escaped.

APP adds from Swat: Three persons, two of them of a family died as a car they were boarding fell into a deep ravine in Malam Jaba area here on Sunday.

The deceased included son and a nephew of a local PPP leader, Roohul Amin Lala.

According to details, Ali Zeb son of Roohul Amin was on his way to Malam Jaba in his car along with his cousin, Ahmad Zeb son of Mohammad Anwar and a friend Akbar Jan resident of Qambala. As the car reached Kashwara area, it went out of the control of the driver, while taking a sharp turn and fell into a deep ravine. All the three persons died on the spot.
