Shehram wins snooker cup

KARACHI, June 28: Shehram Changezi displayed a superb cue control to thrash Naveen Perwani 6-2 in the final of the 12th Style Snooker Cup at the Karachi Club on Saturday.

The final turned out to be a one-sided affair against all expectations.

Naveen carved out breaks of 50, 44 and 39, but it was Shehram who emerged victorious with scores of 66-38, 72-28, 64-50, 50-64, 44-89, 95-27, 70-09, 69-39 in the three-hour contest.

Shehram received the cash prize of Rs50,000 while Naveen pocketed Rs30,000.—APP
