LAHORE, June 23: Opposition members in the Punjab Assembly continued on Monday their boycott of the proceedings by sitting at a camp in front of the main entrance to the building.

The number of participants in the ‘opposition chamber’ outside the assembly has been on the decrease with every day, but Punjab PML-Q Secretary-General Chaudhry Zaheerudin continued claiming that he enjoyed support of all people on the left side of the house.

The opposition show continued for half an hour or so though the first session of Monday’s proceedings continued for over three and a half hours. However, the ‘opposition chamber’ proved to be the best waiting place for the drivers of treasury members and plainclothesmen.
