MITHI, June 21: A Kolhi woman, resident of village Pahanario of taluka Nagarparkar, has appealed to the authorities and human rights organisations to get her husband released from jail on humanitarian grounds as there is no one to look after her family.

Narrating her ordeal to the reporters at the press club here on Friday along with her six children, Ms Pali, wife of Ram Chand Kolhi, alleged that her brother-in-law Ramji alias Surto and others had lodged a baseless case against her husband Ram Chand. Nagarparkar police arrested him on May 15.

She said after the arrest of her husband, her brother-in-law and others forcibly displaced her from village Pahanario along with her children and there was no one to take care or feed them.

She said she was living a life like gypsies, having no shelter.

Being an uneducated woman, she had no knowledge of courts and law and did not know when her husband would be released, she said while tears in her eyes.

She appealed to the authorities and human rights activists to help in releasing her husband from jail.

She called for an action against those who have implicated him in false case.
