KASUR, June 13: Four men axed their sister and her paramour to death allegedly to preserve their ‘honour’ and later buried them in the courtyard of their house on Thursday night. The Mustafabad police, however, recovered the bodies on Friday.

Sughra Bibi, alias Kaaki, of Ada Vadana, some 20 kilometres away from here, had an affair with Barkat Ali of Sandha village in Gandasingh police precincts.

On Thursday night, Barkat Ali came to meet Sughra at her house but her brothers, Ilyas, Zulifqar, Sahib and Papu, caught both of them in compromising condition. They later axed the couple to death and buried them in the courtyard of their house.

On a tip-off, the police raided the house and recovered the bodies, which were sent to DHQ Hospital for autopsies. The police were investigating. However, no arrest has been made in this connection.
