BANNU, June 10: Four persons sustained injuries when a remote controlled bomb went off in a net café at the busy Bannu bazaar on Tuesday.

The device planted by unidentified persons exploded with a big bang at 4pm injuring four people identified as Fahim Khan of Saleh Khan Mandan, Fahim Khan Tughlkhel, Tahir Khan and Faizan. They were rushed to the district headquarters hospital Bannu in critical condition.

The World Net Café in the busy CD market at muhallah Custodian was completely destroyed. Four other shops adjacent to the World Net Café were also partially damaged.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. The police registered FIR against unidentified persons and started investigation.

Our Peshawar Bureau adds: Some unidentified militants blew up a net café located at Malik Sarwar Plaza in Phundo area in the small hours of Tuesday.

Police said no loss of life had been reported. The café was totally destroyed in the explosion.
