Russia biggest oil producer

PARIS, June 10: Russia is the biggest oil producer in the world, extracting 10.08 million barrels per day last year ahead of Saudi Arabia pumping 8.48 million barrels, IEA data published on Tuesday showed.

The data ranks the United States as the third-biggest producer with 7.48 million barrels per day, followed by Iran, pumping 3.98 million barrels per day.

China is in fifth place with output of 3.73 million barrels per day last year.—AFP
