Nawaz may join in

Published June 10, 2008

LAHORE, June, 9: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif is returning from London and is likely to participate in the lawyers’ long march, claims Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Saad Rafiq.

“According to my information, Nawaz is returning to Pakistan to join the long march,” he told a press conference here on Monday.

He denied that Nawaz or Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had decided not to attend the march.

The PML-N, he said, was very much part of the lawyers’ movement which would result in reinstatement of judges sacked under the Nov 3 Provisional Constitution Order.

Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman and Mian Marghoob Ahmad were also present.
