MANSEHRA, June 7: Advocate Saeed Ahmad Shah Mushdee has been elected new chairman of the Public Safety and Police Complaint Commission for the district, it is learnt.

At a meeting held here on Saturday under Mohammad Rafique Shah, chairman of the selection committee, the members unanimously elected Mr Mushdee the chairman for two years.

Mr Mushdee will replace UK law graduate Saif Ali Shah, who held the position for over four years.

Speaking after being elected the chairman, Mr Mushdee said he would work hard to meet expectations and confidence of the members and people of the district.
