Argentina lead FIFA ratings

PARIS, June 4: Argentina have increased their lead ahead of Brazil at the top of FIFA’s world rankings released on Wednesday as Euro 2008 co-hosts Austria make their appearance in the top 100 in 92nd place.

Portugal, among the favourites for the European tournament, have dropped out of the top 10 falling two places to 11th, while England, who failed to qualify for the continental championship move up two places to ninth.
