SIALKOT, May 31: Two people were injured in a blast in a bus near Daska city’s Jinnah Chowk on Saturday.

It is learnt that Zainul Abideen, a resident of Thathiyaraan locality, was trying to get onto the bus near Jinnah Chowk stop when his bag hit the bus gate.

As a result, something exploded and injured Abideen and bus conductor Amjad. Panicked bus passengers took it as a bomb explosion and came out of the bus immediately.

However, it was not ascertained till 10pm on Saturday what caused the blast.

The injured were being treated at the Daska Civil Hospital.
