MIRPURKHAS, May 27: Police fails to take action against firing in marriage ceremonies which claims lives of people. Many lives had been lost in the city during last few years.

Heavy firing by youth with sophisticated arms during wedding ceremonies had become a trend but police refrains from taking action in this regarding.

Recently, 24-year-old Iqbal Qureshi, in Tata Mill area died after sustaining bullet injuries as he was sitting outside his home.

Police despite lot of commotion, panic, and complaints chose to remain away from the spot. Police did not take any legal action against those responsible for firing.

President Mirpurkhas Chamber Of Commerce and Industry Abdul Khaliq Khan expressed concern over police attitude regarding firing incidents in marriage ceremonies and said it causes harassment while many had lost their lives.

He appealed to the DIG and DPO Mirpurkhas to take notice of the matter.
