LAHORE, May 23: The Punjab University has received 130 applications from publishers and booksellers for participation in its first official three-day book fair.

The university will receive applications from publishers and booksellers for participation in Book Fair 2008 till May 24 and the fair will begin on May 28. The Book Fair Steering Committee, chaired by PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, reviewed arrangements for the event on Friday.

Earlier, separate meetings of the media and publicity committee and invitation and reception committee were held to finalise arrangements for the book fair. — Staff Reporter
