Four more human agents arrested

GUJRANWALA, May 22: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four more human agents, including a Hindu, and recovered passports and other documents from their possession here on Thursday.

Agency additional director Hussain Asgher said that accused Khatri Lal of Peshawar was involved in smuggling of people to the UK.

He said a raiding party arrested Lal when he came to Kharian to collect money from Yasin.

Mr Asghar said accused Raja Ghulam Hussain had received Rs900,000 each from complainants Yasir Saeed and Amina Saeed for sending them to the UK.

Similarly, he said accused Ikram and Abdul Hamid Khokher would receive Rs450,000 to Rs0.5 million for sending people to Saudi Arabia.

He said the FIA team, led by inspector Ajmal Sundho, raided the houses of accused in Mandi Bahauddin and arrested them on a tip-off.
