NAWABSHAH, May 22: Rangers would be deployed for the maintenance of law and order in Larkana said former Nawabshah district nazim and PPP candidate for NA-207 Faryal Talpur here on Thursday.

She was talking to journalists after attending a district council’s session as a special guest. Ms Faryal Talpur had resigned from the nazim’s post to contest on a national assembly seat (NA-207).

She told the journalists that the law and order situation in Larkana had been deteriorated however it had been improved after some changes in the administration.

She further said that the people of Larkana had gone through difficult times over the past many years and they were surrounded by many problems. She said that it was her mission to resolve people’s problems.

She said that the landlords who used to support criminals were no more in power and that would further improve the situation.

She said that a special industrial zone would be established in Larkana and the problem of drainage in Moenjodaro would be resolved on priority basis.

She said that the constituency belonged to People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and she would back in Nawabshah after he arrived and would contests the elections.

She informed that the national highway authority would construct a bridge at Mehrabpur-San which would connect Nawabshah to Dadu and work on the project was expected to start in October next.

She said that Nawabshah Medical College and Hospital would be renamed People’s Medical College and Hospital and a notification would soon be issued in this regard.

Earlier, Nawabshah district council acting in accordance with the relevant laws has allowed the district naib nazim to act as district nazim till the new district nazim is elected.
