Diploma in logistics

KARACHI, May 20: Pakistan International Freight Forwarders Association (PIFFA) has awarded certificates to the first batch of 35 candidates who have passed out the Diploma in Logistics and International Freight Forwarding.

The association recently introduced the diploma for the first time in Pakistan in conjunction with Fiata International, Zurich.

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Chairman Vice Admiral Ahmed Hayat was the chief guest at the ceremony held here on Tuesday and was also attended among others by Port Qasim Chairman Rear Admiral Syed Afzal, representatives from Unido, trade, shippers council, national trade and transport committee.

PIFFA chairman Babar Bidat said that the next batch that would also comprise people from banking sector, trade and industry would commence from June 1.
