28 injured as bus overturns

SAHIWAL, May 14: As many as 28 passengers sustained injuries, four of them critical, in a road accident here on Arifwala Road on Wednesday.

Reports said a Sahiwal-bound bus overturned in a bid to overtake another bus near village 34-EB on Arifwala Road. As a result, 28 passengers sustained injuries. Of them, 14 were shifted to Sahiwal DHQ hospital where four of them were stated to be in a critical condition. The rest were given first aid on the spot by Rescue 1122. abducted: Five men kidnapped a married woman over a money dispute here at village 186/9-L on Tuesday night.

Reports said Jafar had a money dispute with Hanif of the same village. Both exchanged hot words off and on. On Tuesday night, Hanif along with four accomplices came to Jafar’s house and allegedly kidnapped his wife ‘P’.
