Bhurt sees anti-PPP conspiracy

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, May 12: Conspiracies began soon after the formation of PPP-led coalition government but hopefully these will be overcome, said Sindh Minister for Livestock, Abdul Haq Bhurt.

Speaking at the first death anniversary of Rehmatullah Buriro, who was killed in May 12 tragedy, at the Main Primary School, Moro, the minister said there was no parallel to last year’s incident adding it was a terrorism in which several lives were lost.

The minister said Benazir Bhutto lost her life for democracy, social justice and her followers and added now it was the duty of elected members and the government to restore justice to people and provide jobs to youths.The Minister for Fisheries Zahid Ali Bhurgari said former Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and Karachi police were responsible for last year’s incident. Mr Bhurgari said people who created problems for Pakistan People’s Party workers will not be spared.

PPP District General Secretary, Syed Karam Ali Shah, Badal Zardari, Ali Asghar Samoon and others also spoke on the occasion.—Correspondent
