Cueists to vie in Bangkok

DUBAI, May 10: Pakistan cueists will participate in the Six Red Ball Pro, an invitation snooker tournament scheduled to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from July 8 to 13.

“We are inviting top professionals and best players from across Asia, including Pakistan, for the event,” President of the Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports (ACBS) Sindhu Pulsirivong said on Saturday.

“It is one of the biggest events to be staged in Asia with two million baht prize money at offer,” Pulsirivong said.

He added that top professionals to feature in the competition included Jimmy White, James Wattana, Marcu Fu, Ken Doherty and Tony Drago.—APP
