MIRPURKHAS, April 28: The Sindh government has approved the scheme to complete remaining nine kilometres of twin Jamrao Canal with an estimated cost of Rs500 million, it was learnt through reliable sources.
Twin Jamrao Canal scheme was completed up to Dilore but its 9-kilometre portion from Dilore to Mitho Machhi was left incomplete.
The scheme was launched to end acute shortage of water in tail areas of Digri, Kot Ghulam Mohammad, Mirpurkhas, Jam Nawaz Ali and Tando Allahyar talukas.
