KARACHI, May 6: Karachi Blues clinched the first triangular disabled cricket series title, thrashing Karachi Disabled Greens by 129 runs in the final at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here the other day.

Batting first, Karachi Blues posted 226 for five in the stipulated 40 overs. Danish Ahmed made an explosive 88 off 67 balls. Abdul Rehman (62) was the other noteworthy scorer.

Later, Danish, supported by Shakeel, wrapped up Karachi Greens on a paltry total of 97 — sharing five wickets among them.

Chief guest Dr Mohammad Ali Shah, Sindh Minster for Sports, presented prizes to the players.—Agencies
