LAHORE, May 5: The Jamaat-i-Islami has issued directives to party leaders and workers for observing a black day on May 12 to condemn alleged MQM terrorism during the visit of the deposed chief justice to Karachi last year and also to protest burning alive nine lawyers and litigants on April 9 this year.

Through a circular, all amirs of provinces and districts have been asked to complete preparations for holding rallies, demonstrations, seminars and meetings on May 12 in which lawyers and opposition leaders should also be invited. — Staff Reporter
