KOHAT, Oct 23: The dead bodies of two minor brothers, who went missing in the morning while on their way to school, were recovered from a drain by the police on Tuesday.

Rasheed, the father of Farhan (8) and Irfan (7), was told a passerby that the bodies of his sons were lying in the nullah. Police recovered the bodies from the nullah and took them to the Liquat Memorial Hospital.

The doctors took samples from their stomachs and lungs before handing over the bodies to the family.

The bodies were buried in the presence of a large number of shocked and angered people.

The parents told police that they have no enmity with anybody. Dawn learnt that the residents of the area had electrified the pipe passing over the nullah to avoid the gathering of drug addicts.
