MIRPURKHAS, April 29: District Nazim Dr Sughra Junejo on Tuesday decided to fix Thursday of every week as the day when only women would visit markets in the district to shop daily commodities from 9 am in the morning to 2 pm.

Dr Junejo said at a meeting with a women’s delegation who had called on her to discuss their problems that no man would be allowed to enter the markets during this time.

She directed special magistrates of revenue to conduct raids in markets and impose fine on the shopkeepers found overcharging.
