KARACHI, April 29: The health department of the city government has finalised all the arrangements for the next phase of the fumigation campaign scheduled to begin on May 2.

According to the schedule, spray teams will start their work from Lyari Town on May 2 and will continue spray and fumigation in Saddar, Keamari, Site, Baldia, Orangi, Liaquatabad, North Nazimabad, Jamshed, Gulberg, North Karachi, Malir, Shah Faisal, Landhi, Korangi, Bin Qasim and Gadap towns on May 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23 respectively.

The health department has directed the citizens to keep food items etc properly covered during the spray in their respective areas and has asked them to cooperate with the health workers. Shopkeepers have also been advised to install nets at the doors and windows of their shops.—APP
