Two fall prey to accidents

SHEIKHUPURA, April 18: Two persons were killed and three others injured critically in two road accidents here on Friday.

Meraj Ahmad was hit and killed by a speeding car near Ghazi Minara on Sargodha Road.

In another incident which took place near Bhikhi village, one Arshad was killed and three women injured when a car overturned due to overspeeding.

SHOT DEAD: Some proclaimed offenders gunned down Sultan over an old enmity in Kaloke village on Friday.

Sadar police are investigating.

HEALTH FAIR: The Health Department in collaboration with the National Commission for Human Development’s local chapter organised a Children Health Fair at the DHQ Hospital on Friday.

Various stalls of medicines were set up at the fair where schoolchildren were also vaccinated.

Earlier, the schoolchildren held a walk to create awareness about children’s health.
