Freed activist gets warm welcome

MIRPURKHAS, April 18: Hundreds of Pakistan People’s Party workers accorded a warm welcome to a local leader of Sindh People’s Students Federation (SPSF) Jehangir Mughal at Jamrao canal bridge on Hyderabad road here on Thursday night.

As he reached on Jamrao canal bridge, the activists resorted to heavy aerial firing. He was brought to city in a caravan of dozens of vehicles. The reception rally along with Jehangir Mughal marched on different roads.

He was released one day ago from central prison Hyderabad after Sindh High Court circuit bench Hyderabad granted him bail.

They face charges of being involved in an attack two years ago which left two MQM workers seriously injured in Hameedpura Colony.
