KARACHI, April 18: An FIR was registered against two unidentified attackers by the Baloch Colony police station on the directives of the judicial magistrate, East, Jamshed Town.

Mehar Mukhtar Ahmed had lodged an FIR (66/08) at the Mithadar police station accusing security officer Saleem Khan and Qamar of a bank of harassing him and keeping him in illegal confinement for several hours on a charge of stealing a CNG kit.

The Mithadar police had registered the FIR (66/08) on the orders of the ADJ-I, South and the was pending before the trial court.

According to the complainant, two young men started visiting his house to force him to withdraw the complaint. On April 17, he heard gunshots and one of the bullets entered his bedroom through the window.

The matter was again reported to the police but no action was taken. Later, the complainant moved the area court, which ordered the registration of an FIR of the incident.—APP
