HYDERABAD: Minister briefed

HYDERABAD, April 18: The managing director of the Sindh Irrigation and Drainage Authority (SIDA), Mohammad Hashim Leghari on Friday briefed the provincial minister for irrigation and power Jam Saifullah Dharejo on the development schemes and growers organisations.

Mr Leghari said that the management of the irrigation system was being gradually transferred to the growers and added that three area water boards namely Nara Canal, Ghotki Feeder Canal and Left Bank Canal had already been formed on the main barrages of the province.—Bureau
