KARACHI, April 14: DIG Ghulam Qadir Thebo was on Monday transferred and posted as DIG Investigation replacing Manzoor Ahmed Mughal, who has been transferred to the Central Police Office.
DIG Thebo was earlier posted as DIG Gwadar Range, which extends up to Hub. The post of DIG Investigation has a somewhat limited role as it oversees the Anti-Violent Crime Unit, Anti-Car Lifting Unit and Special Investigation Cell.
Special Investigations cases are also assigned to the DIG Investigation and the rest of investigation cases are looked after by the respective DIGs of the city’s three zones.
