HYDERABAD, April 9: Hyderabad DCO Syed Barkat Ahmed Rizvi on Wednesday warned the milk retailers and wholesalers of strict legal action if they were found violating the rates fixed by the district government.

He was speaking at a meeting with the stakeholders at Shahbaz Hall that the district administration would also take into account the milk sellers problems and revise the rates in case Karachi administration also did so.

The meeting attended by union council nazims Q. M. Hakim and Arif Razmi, representatives of dairy farmers, wholesalers and retailers associations, officers of revenue and police departments decided to link milk rates with those of Karachi and fix it at Rs2 less.
