KARACHI, April 9: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah held an introductory meeting with the secretaries of all the administrative departments.
Chief Secretary Fazlur Rehman introduced the secretaries to the chief minister on Wednesday.
He sought details of jobs provided during the term of the caretaker government. Their only mandate was to hold free, fair and transparent elections and not to give jobs, he observed.
Mr Shah said whatever steps deemed necessary in the public interest would be taken on a priority basis.—APP
