PESHAWAR, April 6: NWFP Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti is likely to take vote of confidence from the assembly on Thursday next, officials said.

Governor Owais Ghani would summon the assembly session on April 10 and the chief minister would take the vote of confidence the same day, said an official. In this connection the provincial law department has sent summary to the governor to convene the assembly session.

Under Article 130(3) of the Constitution the chief minister is required to obtain vote of confidence from the provincial assembly within a period of 60 days after taking oath of his office.
