SHEIKHUPURA, April 5: An armed clash between police and gangsters left a constable and one of the robbers injured near Chak 10 (Sharqapur Road) on Saturday.

The Sharaqpur police patrol squad on its routine duty saw four suspects who, on inquiry, opened fire, injuring constable Abdur Rahman. As the police returned fire, one of the armed men also suffered injuries and was immediately handcuffed. The three others fled.

BODY FOUND: The Factory Area police on Saturday recovered a child’s body from fields.

Reports said Moazzam disappeared two days ago while playing in a street adjacent to his house at Kot Abdul Malik. The police found his body in fields.
