KARACHI, April 3: Six vessels including three cement loaders are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was on the higher side where 10 ships, Orient Stride, Oel Trust, Creek to unload and load containers, An Shuan Jiang and Banglar Mookh to unload and load general cargo, Term Anholt, Al-Wakra, to load containers and general cargo, Champion Potar to load molasses, Chemroad Wing to load ethanol and Johar to offload crude oil were accommodated berths.

Sailing was also active as six ships, Helene Rickmers, APL Argentina, Global Prosperity, VemaCape, Addarraq and Golden Oceaninc departed on Thursday, while Al-Wakra, Johar, Sea Master, Oel Trust, Team Admiration, Creek and Chemroad Wing are due to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 0.104m tons comprising 31.826 tons of export cargo including 9,844 tons of cement and 71,624 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due on Friday: Sea Bulk Hope, Al-Rahalah-1 and Pacific Arrow to load cement, Calvin P. Titus, Hyundai Highway with containers and Thia Glory with coal.
